Isolated elderly individuals without any retirement benefits, no medical insurance, nothing! Locally born individuals who now find themselves with no administrative existence, known as ” Local Stateless ” or ” NNI ” people in great social precarity. They are often in priority neighborhoods and create a breeding ground for delinquency, which stigmatizes the neighborhood.

Association Overview

SXM NINI was created in August 2019 with the intention of identifying and inserting those who have fallen between the cracks of Saint Martin society. For those whose administrative forms do not have boxes that correspond to their current situation.

THE FOUNDER

CARTI CODRINGTON Sofia

CEO and Co founder

Sofia CARTI, married to CODRINGTON, born on June 23, 1975, in La Romana, Dominican Republic, is of French nationality and is the founding president of the SXM NINI association. Educational and training background:

BEP-CAP in Hospitality from the “Lycée des îles du Nord.”

2007

State Diploma in Athletics Coaching (1st and 2nd degree) from the “Creps Antilles Guyane Guadeloupe.”

2009

Stress and Conflict Management from “MCF.”

2010

Marketing and Communication from “MCF.”

2019

Counselor for the Triple P Program (Positive Parenting Practices).

In my professional life, I have worked as an entrepreneur, project coordinator, event organizer, crisis manager, head waiter, secretary, and cook. In my extracurricular and community activities, I served as the vice-president of the collectivity of Saint-Martin, territorial councilor, and vice-president of the Orleans neighborhood council from 1998 to 2016. I have also represented parents in various schools in my neighborhood.
